### How Lemon.io MCP works&#x20;

Lemon.io MCP is a remote[ Model Context Protocol](https://modelcontextprotocol.io/) server that enables you — without leaving Claude or visiting our site — to use Lemon.io’s core features:

* **Hire developers** — Submit a hiring request and get 1–3 hand-matched with vetted senior candidates. First candidates typically land within 24 hours, right in your email.
* **Write a job description** — Turn your requirements into a polished, role-specific text in seconds.
* **Prepare interviews** — Pull curated technical interview questions tailored by stack and seniority.

No account, API key, or local setup needed. Just connect to our hosted server using the simple steps below and start using it. In case of a hiring request, Claude shows you a preview and submits it to Lemon.io only after you confirm.&#x20;

### How to connect and start using Lemon.io MCP

Setting up takes about a minute — no technical experience needed. Just follow these steps:

1. Go to [Claude.ai](http://claude.ai) in your browser, or open the Claude Desktop app.
2. Click **“Settings”**, then select **“Connectors”** from the menu. Click **“Add”** at the upper right corner of the screen and pick the **“Add custom connector”** option.

3. Enter the **Lemon.io details** (name and URL), click **“Add”**, and then, on the confirmation screen, click **“Connect”**.&#x20;

That’s it — **Lemon.io tools are now ready to use in your conversations**. Open a new chat and try it out. Example prompts:&#x20;

### Privacy settings

The first time you use Lemon.io MCP, Claude will ask how you’d like it to handle your requests — for example, whether it should check with you for confirmation each time before sending a hiring request to us.&#x20;
