# Free developer replacement

If a developer is not delivering as expected, Lemon.io vetted tech talent marketplace provides a free replacement. Replacements are typically completed within **24–48 hours**.

**What triggers a replacement:**

* The developer stops communicating or goes silent.
* Consistent missed deadlines or underperformance.
* Technical skill mismatch that only becomes apparent on the project.
* Poor culture or communication does not fit with the team.
* The developer voluntarily leaves the project.

**How replacement works:** A customer contacts their Lemon.io manager when any issues arise, and the case is resolved individually, prioritizing the customer’s interests.
