# Who can apply

Lemon.io is a senior-only network. Vetting is deliberately demanding — so before you apply, see what the bar looks like.

**You’re likely a good fit if you have:**

* ***Senior-level, hands-on experience*** — a minimum of 3 years of commercial experience in a specific stack, with most developers in the network at 6–8 years. What matters is proven work on real products, not tutorials or side projects.
* ***Strong English*** — clear, professional communication, spoken and written, enough to handle standups, async discussion, and technical conversations. Accent and grammatical perfection don't matter; clarity does.
* ***Real availability*** — 20+ hours per week. Full-time (40h/week) developers are preferred and generally get matched faster.
* ***A relevant, in-demand stack*** — mainstream technologies such as JavaScript/TypeScript, React, React Native, Node.js, Python, Ruby on Rails, Java, .NET, PHP, Flutter, iOS, and cloud platforms, plus Data, AI/ML, QA, and UX/UI roles. If your CV shows depth across multiple stacks, you can be vetted for them.

**A few practical notes:**

* ***On a notice period?*** You’re welcome to apply, ideally if part-time work is possible in the meantime. Profiles that need 2+ months before starting full-time may not move forward right away.
* ***Not senior yet?*** Junior and mid-level engineers can still register — the team will reach out once you’ve reached the seniority level clients hire for.
* ***Rejected before?*** You can reapply, as long as you have a relevant stack, the right seniority, and sufficient English at the time you reapply.

What we don’t require: you don’t need to sell yourself, write cover letters, or bid on roles. Vetting is what earns you access; after that, relevant project offers come to you.
